Abstract: This paper discusses the rapid decline of a modernist seminary built in the outskirts of Glasgow in the second half of the 20th century. It suggests that programmatic architecture leads to ‘the production of ruins’ and outlines an art led creative responses to the re-use of derelict buildings, specifically, St Peter’s seminary .
